Observations on AI in healthcare

AI for Biopharma

Every biopharma deck now has an AI slide. Most of them describe the same three tools and hope no one asks what actually reached a patient. The honest version is narrower and more interesting: AI is quietly reshaping the parts of drug development that were always bottlenecked by human throughput — triaging targets, reading assays, drafting the regulatory paperwork — while leaving the hard biology roughly as hard as it was.

This piece is about telling those apart: what moves a program’s timeline and cost, and what just moves a conference agenda.
